With all of the challenges that arose pre-production, we know this was not an easy job. However, you helped us solve each challenge and ultimately ensured the quality of the final product.
LM-Productions team is always up for a challenge to produce something different and creative, which in turn means we are able to create a successful end result for our client.
From the earliest days of concept, through design and media creation, to on-site production and show opening, the LM team was there every step of the way.
About LM Productions
For over 25 years LM Productions has been delivering award winning shows across the globe. The StratoSphere is certainly our iconic centrepiece, but it is far from all that we offer.
From our offices and warehouses on the south coast of the UK, we offer a large stock of AV equipment including a wide range of projectors, lasers, video displays, touchscreens and much, much more.
We pride ourselves on the ability to offer total solutions to clients, with our in-house creative, technical and production teams, we work closely with our clients from the initial design stages, right the way through to the installation and operation of the project.
We also offer a bespoke design service which allows us to utilise our knowledge of technical elements and combine them with our clients' unique wishes. This allows us to create cutting edge, one-off pieces that entertain and engage users like no off-the-shelf product can.
Latest Company updates
LM Productions have been busy upgrading the LMP creative lab at the company’s Eastbourne headquarters. We have done this by making significant upgrades to all of our computer hardware which now offers us faster streamlining of our creative process.
We are now using the latest Intel i7 processors in all of our PCs, including our render farm, this way we can distribute a much larger workload whilst still maintaining productivity on other tasks without impacting performance.
Integrating Blender Into Laser Workflow
Part of the digital tools our creative team uses alongside the traditional Adobe and Autodesk Suites are open source software. LM Productions has always been an avid supporter of open source creative tools and we always strive to incorporate these programmes into our creative workflow. We’ve been using software such as Krita, GIMP, Inkspace and most frequently Blender 3D.
Blender offers superior 3D modelling tools, advanced particle and simulation systems and excellent animation features. By incorporating Blender into our laser programming we are now able to offer a wider scope of laser animations and it also helps both us and our clients achieve a greater level of creative freedom.
In the past we have had many successful interactive touchscreen projects that we have coded with Ventuz and utilised its fantastic features set. Chief among these was the 2015 World Expo in Milan, where we used Ventuz for a large number of the 3D interactive exhibition pieces.
The latest addition to our touchscreen software repertoire is Intuiface. We recently have started to rely on it more due to its intuitive interface and easy setup.
One of our latest projects using it was during the recent UN Climate Change Conference (COP 22) in Marrakech, Morocco.
